A traditional process with industrial efficiency

When it comes to purity and authenticity, Buisman’s caramelised sugars and caramels are unique. This results from a traditional process that is still – uniquely - followed by Buisman today.
The ingredients are heated, cooled, milled and packaged. There is no liquid stage in which spray-drying is needed. This means that the final product consists of 100% caramelised sugar, and is less hygroscopic.
Yet this traditional process is employed in an efficient industrial process with state-of-the-art technology.
